Finals Week

I feel like I blinked and my daughters Sophomore year of college is over! This year was filled with some challenges along the way and so many triumphs! I couldn’t be more proud of the young woman she is becoming. There is so much maturity and growth while our kids are away at school for both them as well as us. Their independence grows day by day and that also leads to some adjustments when they return home for the summer, but Im up for the challenge and can’t wait to have her home for several months!

As I prepare for her to come home, she is preparing for finals and I can hear the stress in her voice. I love sending my kids something fun during finals week to lift their spirits and let them know we are rooting for them as well as providing a little something for when they need a much needed break!

Here are some of my favorite finals week treats to send if you need some ideas of ways to send a little encouragement and far away love your childs way!

The Popcorn Factory is one of my all time favorites to send and always much appreciated by my kids and all of their friends. Love that you can pick one flavor or a trio! They have so many fun tins to pick from that will be sure to brighten their day.

Laugh Out Loud

Edible Arrangements are another great choice if they have access to a refrigerator. Im an advocate of eating lots of fresh fruit instead of junk. There are always add ons that you can include for those who a little chocolate is a must.  My middle daughter loves getting one of these arrangements!

Lovely Daisy with Dipped Strawberries

Bundle of Cheer

Amazon also offers some great care packages. I have a child and I won’t mention any names but she gets hangry! Hangry people come in all forms: sons and daughters and finals week can make things even worse. This Hangry Care package has so many treats to keep them satisfied and ready to study!
