Face Mask Time

The advice to wear face masks to help stop the spread of corona virus  is a highly talked about subject among many circles.  To say that I am prepared is an understatement! Over the past few days, I have had several people bring up their need to up their fast mask game, since we should be wearing them for quite some time.  My family has joked that for someone who has only left the house a handful of times since March 13th, I have a plethora of face masks. You might say that I have one to match any and every outfit when I do decide to go back into society on a daily basis.

A friend asked me to highlight some of my favorite masks and where I have ordered them from.

I will admit that panic set in at the beginning of this pandemic  and I found myself searching the internet and ordering masks every day.  I wanted to make sure that my husband and I, as well as our kids, had plenty of masks and were totally prepared. The question was: which would be most comfortable, safest, stylish and easily washable? My husband has definitely put a stop to the mask ordering but he too has found his favorites.

There are so many different masks to choose from in all different fabrics, some with breathing vents, changeable filters,  adjustable ear pieces and even some with nose pieces to help them fit to your face.

I tend to feel claustrophobic and the thought of wearing a face mask was a bit daunting but here are some of my favorites:

This Tulerosa mask  , my favorite, is so soft and comfortable with great coverage. Made out of double layered jersey fabric with an internal filter slit.

Onzi mindful masks come in some really fun patterns and I love their fit! They used a multi-layer fabric made of Full Flex Spandex for the exterior and a high performance inner lining and elastic straps. The fabric is stretchy, comfort fitting, quick-drying and breathable. Masks can be used on their own for protection or as a cover for an N95 and filtered masks. They come in a 2-pack of pre-packed assorted colors and an added bonus is that Proceeds will be donated to healthcare workers across America through a donation to the Center For Disaster Philanthropy.

The TSSPLUS V2 PM2.5 Anti Air Pollution Reusable Washable Face Mask Respirator has an adjustable nose bridge and ear straps that I found be really comfortable to wear. The breathing valve allows air to enter the body while keeping moisture out as well as harmful substances in the air. These come in a variety of colors and are unisex! Both of my boys have this one and really like the fit.

One of my many purchases included this face mask pack of 50 by LeadPro that I found on Amazon.  I have a basket at my front door filled with these masks, for service men that may need to come inside.  I am requiring them to wear a facemark and these are perfect disposable masks to ensure everyones safety.
These Unisex PPE mask from Sanctuary clothing comes in an assortment of stylish signature prints. They are designed to create a barrier to protect you from the environment around you, while also making you feel confident.
I love that these have the nose piece feature to mold to your face. I have found that this helps to keep the mask in place and when this is done it does the fabric a bit away from my mouth and makes it easier to breathe and wear for a longer time.
This solid grey mask from Electric styles is one of my husbands favorites. The fabric is incredibly soft and the nose piece is a definite perk as it really helps to mold to the face quite snug. Each mask also comes with 2 replacement adhesive nose pieces. I was also able to order an extra set of 10 adhesive nose pieces that I added to some of my other masks to enhance their fit!
We don’t know when this crisis will be over but we do know that wearing a face mask  and social distancing helps to keep the transmission of this virus to a minimum, so be prepared and do what is best for everyone around you!
